"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD!

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

See what Luke wrote in the book of Acts: "However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says:" (Acts 7:48)

​

But He lives in His children! So Paul says believers in Christ are the temple of the Most High! And He dwells in them! 

​

That's why we have to keep our bodies (Temple) holy! And Paul warns the Corinthian Church by saying; If any one defiles this body, God will surely destroy him. Why? I mentioned in the beginning that we must be holy & live a holy life, period!
